Nice work Simon. #2 is the one to explore. Try to get variations of that same shot: torso a bit more laid back, feet in angle (pointing out), think about the helmet and also how are we going to see the skull etc... You can also start to think about the lighting. Each of your concepts have a big moon in background, it would be interesting to see what you could do if that moon was not in the frame but still affecting your scene. Or, would those guys in the back have a strong spotlight or flashlight that could be directed on the main subject...?
