Looks good Brimrun. We could use some more darker tones in the corners (both walls and ceiling)and gradually fading as you reach the lighter areas(see cross hatch). Try to move the lighter area on the box following the arrow i added. As for the second exercice, the sphere, walls, floor and ceiling look good. Check again for the shadows of the 2 shapes glued to the ceiling...Help yourself by making a quick top view graphic of the whole box to get a more precise location of the light source and the 2 shapes.
